Description: This course provides an understanding of the principles and problems of manufacturing the printed product to meet the required demands of the customer in a timely manner. The student develops an understanding of the methods of collecting an analyzing data from the production and cost areas. Attention is directed to process improvement methods, production standards, production schedules, inventory control and problem solving techniques are taught. In addition, operations management in the world of digital printing is a focus through out these sessions.
